Assessment : The
Internal Assessment (IA) in each paper shall carry 20
marks. The course teacher is required to conduct two tests
based on multiple choice question (MCQs) selected from
the completed portion of the syllabus. Each test shall
carry maximum 10 marks divided into 20 MCQs carrying half
a mark. The duration of the test shall be for 30 minutes
only. There shall be no nagative marking. There is no
provision for improvement/reappearance in IA. The college
shall use OMR sheets for conducting the IA tests, shall
preserve the sheets till the announcement of semester-end
results and allow students, if need be, to verify the
marks.
ELIGIBILITY
FOR ADMISSION TO THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE.
B.A. / B.Com.
Part - I :
The candidates should have
passed PUC IInd year from Karnataka P. U. E. Board or
any equivalent recognised by the University.
Part -II :
The candidates should have studied the B. A. and B. Com.
part I class of the Karnataka University keeping the academic
terms to a minimum of 75% of attendance with good conduct.
Part III : The
candidates should have studied the B. A. and B.Com. part
I and part II classes of the Karnataka University keeping
the academic terms to a minimum of 75% attendance with
good conduct.
Since there is a provision for improvement of academic
qulifications re-admission to any classes is not allowed.
Transfer of the students from one college to another out
side Hubli Dharwad will be done only with NOC of both
colleges as well as the permission of the University.
It is required that the same combination of subjects should
be available in both college. But under no conditionds
transfer be made from one college to another college in
the same town.
Each subject combination has a definite intake capacity.
The principal has every right to stop, continue, or restrict
the number of students for a specific combination. Students
may be asked to offer the pervailing combination to the
student than the one chosen by the student even after
admission.
The eligiblity conditions for above mentioned various
classes are subject to variation as per the latest rules
and regulations of Govt of Karnataka, Karnataka University,
Dharwd and the institution as the case may be.
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT (IA)
:
1. Each paper of 100 marks shall
carry 20 marks IA. out of the 20 marks, 10 shall be for
semester tests and remaining 10 shall be for assignment
/ class records / skill developments.
2. In each paper two tests shall be conducted for the
award of IA marks, and each of one hour duration for a
maximum of 20 marks reduced to 10 later. First test shall
be conducted in 8th week and II test in 12th week of the
respective semester. The averge marks attained in the
two tests for 10 marks shall be taken in to account as
final IA marks for the test component.
3. The award of IA marks for assignment / records / skill
development shall be based on the submissions of the same
by the candidates duly certified by the concerned teacher.
4. The Internal Assessment (IA) marks awarded to students
shall be displayed on the notice board of the college
within two weeks from the date of conduct of the tests.
The Principal shall disply the particulars of IA marks
awarded to each student, one week prior to the commencement
of the semester end examination.
5. The Principal shall preserve the I.A. records of all
the students and their answer scripts till the declarations
of the semester examination results.
6. A consolidated IA marks list in all the papers of a
particular semester duly signed by HOD / Staff in -charge
and Principal shall be submitted to the Universit / Examination
Section by the colleges. prior to the date of commoncement
of the semeste examination. The principal shall maintain
a master register of IA marks of all the students in the
papers. This master register shall be kept open for inspection
by the University authorities, at any time.
7.There shall be no provision for improvement of IA marks.
ADMISSION PROCESS.
The admissions for all the Degree classes
will be governed by the rules and regulations as prescribed
by Govt of Karnataka, Karnataka University, Dharwad and
institution.
Information regarding admissions will be displayed on
the notice board or may be obtained from the office.
The documents to be submitted at the time of admission.

zerox copies of previous examination.
2) Transfer Certificate:
O iginal copy
3) Income Certificate
: 2 attested zerox
copies of the income certificate issued by the Competent
Authority.
4) Caste Certificate :
SC / ST
Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 2 attested zerox copies
issued by the Competent Authority.
5) No objection certificate from
the concerned authority in case of employed students.
6) Pass port size photos - 2
7) Self addressed 2 Post cards ( Parents / Guardian
address )
