About Science Forum

The college has constituted Science Forum since 2005. The forum comprises of a convener and members from the faculty.
The forum starts with a view to promote basic science and enhance scientific awareness among the students. It plays an active role in developing a scientific outlook among the students by organizing programmes.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

• To inculcate scientific awareness, scientific temper among the students.
• To encourage students to participate in science related activities.
• To fulfill their quests in which they don’t get opportunities within the syllabus framework.

FORUM ACTIVITIES

• Guest lectures from eminent scholars.
• Science quiz competitions.
• Participated in zonal level science exhibition competition.
• Participated in state level science exhibition competition.
• National Science day celebration.
• Popularizing basic science education by arranging simple experiments in laboratories and inciting rural primary and high school students.

Sri Rambhapuri Jagadguru Veeragangadhara Arts and Commerce College, Shiggaon is a unique college of its own imparting education in Arts and Commerce faculties. It was established in 1985 and it is affiliated to Karnatka University, Dharwad. Our college is named after late his Holiness Sri Rambhapuri Jagadguru Veeragangadhara Mahaswamiji of BaleHonnur. Our college is an ideal institution in the whole institution in the whole of Shiggaon taluk imparting degree education College has an area of five acres with college building, library Gymkhana Hall, playground etc. College is Shiggaon's pride stepped into this July an academic year for the all round development of Shiggaon Taluk citizens taken a bold steps to continue its tradition on its democratic principle College has a beautiful garden and the best environment for good health
